From Garden Rooms to School Buildings: Why We Created Cosy School Rooms

When we started Cosy Garden Rooms, our focus was on designing and installing bespoke garden rooms for homeowners looking to add extra space to their property.
Over the past few years we've found ourselves working with more and more schools. Schools are using outdoor buildings/classrooms in a variety of ways. Some need additional classroom space, while others are creating intervention rooms, libraries, meeting spaces, SEND facilities or dedicated areas for staff. The requirements are often very different from those of a homeowner, but the principles remain the same: creating high-quality, flexible spaces that are built to last.
We've been delivering more and more projects for schools in recent years, so we've launched a dedicated website designed specifically for schools and education settings.
The new website has been designed specifically for schools and educational organisations. It brings together information on the types of buildings we provide, answers to some of the questions schools commonly ask and examples of projects we've delivered.
Although the website is new, our experience in the education sector isn't. Over the years, we've successfully completed projects for schools and nurseries throughout the UK, working closely with headteachers, business managers and site teams to deliver buildings that meet their requirements.
We understand that schools often have considerations that don't apply to residential projects. Installation times may need to fit around term dates and holidays, buildings may require accessibility features and there can be questions around compliance, safeguarding and long-term durability.
By creating Cosy School Rooms, we wanted to make it easier for schools to access information that is relevant to them, while showcasing some of the projects we've been proud to deliver.
Cosy School Rooms remains part of Cosy Garden Rooms and is delivered by the same experienced team that designs and installs our bespoke buildings.
