Photography Studios

Many photographers are making the use of the space they have at home by having a purpose-built photography studio in their garden.

A garden room photography studio eliminates the need for expensive rental spaces and provides all the convenience of working from home. Whether you're a professional photographer or an enthusiastic hobbyist, your garden room studio offers a space to hone your skills, conduct client sessions, or indulge in your passion for photography.
Cosy Garden Rooms have designed and built many photography studios; we can build any shape, any size with higher roofs and any internal configuration to include changing rooms, office/desk spaces, storage rooms and toilet facilities as needed.

Our clients have told us that having their own garden room studio has helped them to grow their business. They have been able to widen the services they offer; sometimes a shoot can feel rushed when renting a studio by the hour, new-born photography in particular can take several hours, having your own studio means you can shoot at your own space and the session is comfortable and relaxed for your clients.
Roberts Twins Photography took the plunge and had a studio built in their garden, they stopped renting a studio, saved money, offered more services and grew their business, read more here.

Designing Your Garden Studio

We will guide you through every stage of the process. You will need space in your studio for lighting equipment and backdrops for shots. Pick a location in your garden that gives you the most flexibility in terms of size; it doesn’t necessarily have to be rectangular, it maybe L-shaped or triangular works best. You can choose the size and position of windows and doors, the ceiling height and even internal rooms for storage, changing or toilet facilities. You might even need a dark room which can be incorporated.
